We are delighted that you will be joining us as a guest. We hope that the following information will make your time at the Club as enjoyable as possible.

Dress Code

We do have a Dress Code that both members and guests are required to follow.

Golf Course Attire:

For Men

All shirts must have sleeves and a type of collar, and it is preferred for them to be tucked in.

Pants and shorts must be tailored and have pockets. Cargo bottoms are not allowed.

Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward.

For Women

The length of bottoms and shirt necklines should be in good taste and portray a professional image.

Leggings with no pockets must be worn under bottoms.

Golf Shoes

Metal spikes are not permitted at Columbia Edgewater.



Examples of non-conforming clothing are:

- Denim of any color or style.- Clothing with rips, tears, or holes.
- Outfits with visible undergarments.
- Athletic attire not intended for the golf course.
- Hoodies not designed for golf, with non-golf related logos or large graphics.
- Cut-offs, running shorts, tennis shorts, warm-up/sweatpants, jogging outfits, tank tops, bathing suits, and tops that show midriffs.

Clubhouse Attire:

For Men

Golf and formal attire are appropriate in the clubhouse.

Shirts are to be tucked in at all times on the upper two levels of the clubhouse with the exception of shirts having a straight-cut, finished hem and full button front.

All shirts must have sleeves and a type of collar.

Pants and shorts must be tailored and have pockets.

Hats are not allowed on the upper two levels inside the clubhouse.

For Women

Golf attire, dresses, skirts or pant ensembles are appropriate in the clubhouse.

Dresses, skirts and shorts must be lower than a person's fingertips when standing straight and tall with their hands at their side.

Hats are acceptable.

Pool Attire:

Swimsuits are allowed only in the pool area. Swimsuits are not allowed in the clubhouse or on the patio. A cover-up is required while approaching or exiting the pool area.

Denim:

Denim must conform to the criteria of the Dress Code. All denim clothing, regardless of color, is prohibited on the golf course, all practice facilities and on the Mason course. The clubhouse is denim friendly except at following events or as otherwise noted.

No Denim Events:
Valentine's Dinner, Easter Brunch, Mother's Day Brunch, Thanksgiving and Santa's Holiday Brunch.

Parking

Our large gated parking lot is available to members and guests.

When you arrive at the gate, please follow the directions on the red sign for gaining access to the lot.

Business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you are arriving outside of those times, please be sure to contact the Pro Shop (if your visit involves a golf outing) or the Grill (if you visit is dining or event related).

You will not be able to gain access by contacting the office outside of business hours.

Cellular Phones

Cell phones are recommended to be on ‘vibrate’ mode when at the Club.

Members and guests are requested to be conscientious with cell phone conversations when they are in proximity to other members and guests.

The use of phones may or may not be permitted during golf events.
